We are connecting more people, places and things than ever before

2018 was a remarkable year. We connected more people, places and things than ever before.

I am so proud of what we have accomplished in North Carolina, and as I look ahead in 2019, I am excited for what is to come.

Investing in NC, deploying AT&T Fiber

To continue to improve how our customers connect, AT&T is continuing our investment to expand and enhance our 100% fiber network powered by AT&T Fiber.

In the state’s larger metro areas, ultra-fast internet speeds are now available to:

More than 275,000 locations across Raleigh, including in parts of more than 18 neighborhoods and 17 cities and counties

More than 250,000 locations across Charlotte, including in parts of more than 48 neighborhoods.

We are also deploying in smaller towns and communities, such as Gastonia and Belmont. Gaston County is one of 71 metros nationwide across 9 million locations where our ultra-fast internet service is currently available. We plan to reach at least 14 million locations across at least 84 metro areas by mid-2019.
