“Our region has long been known as a technology and innovation center,” said Adrienne Cole, President and CEO of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. “Access to high-speed fiber optic networks not only drives business growth, but it adds to the quality of life that attracts the educated, technology workers our businesses need.”

“For decades, AT&T has been deploying fiber here in the Triangle, first in our backbone network and now in local neighborhoods,” said Robert Doreauk, regional director of external affairs. “This extensive fiber deployment is part of our commitment to deliver ultra-fast internet that keeps residents and businesses connected and help attract the jobs, investment and innovation that will keep this region growing.”

Communities in Raleigh are among the 10 million locations across 72 metros nationwide where our ultra-fast internet service is currently available. We plan to reach at least 14 million locations across at least 84 metro areas by mid-2019.

AT&T is the largest U.S.-based provider of fiber for business services nationwide. Across North Carolina, AT&T covers more than 54,000 business customer locations with high-speed internet services.

Eligible locations can choose from a range of internet speed plans on our 100% fiber network. Plans are designed to deliver the same speeds up and down. These plans include AT&T Internet 100, AT&T Internet 300 and AT&T Internet 1000.2
