That’s why on this Veteran’s Day, and every day for over 100 years, AT&T is proud to support these brave men and women who protect our freedom.
This year, we are teaming up with NPower, an organization dedicated to helping veterans and their spouses gain the digital and professional skills needed to succeed in in tech-based careers.
Our nation’s veterans are a vital part of the country’s workforce and critical part of our AT&T team:
In May 2016, we announced plans to hire a total of 20,000 vets by 2020. To date, we have hired more than 15,000 veterans toward reaching that goal.
Our Careers for Veterans program supports over 130,000 veterans and their spouses by giving career advice through our veteran talent network.
AT&T ranked No. 5 in DiversityInc.’s Top 18 Companies for Veterans for 2018.
Supporting veterans and their families is also a major focus of our philanthropic efforts including contributing or directing about $21 million to veteran’s organizations through corporate, social investment and AT&T Foundation giving programs during the past five years.
And to help veterans and their families stay connected, AT&T is offering veteran families significant savings on wireless, video and internet.1
While we could never fully repay those who serve, on this day of reflection, we say, “Thank you” to our heroes who give so much and invite you to join us #ThankOurHeroes.
We're also donating $5 for each video view*
Additionally, I wanted to let you know that a veterans Employee Resource Group has recently been formed in Kentucky. To learn more, visit their Facebook page or email [email protected].
Sincerely,
Hood Harris
President — AT&T Kentucky
